Under the general supervision of the Research Manager and in accordance with established policies and procedures the Project Coordinator coordinates research related projects in the Center for Health and Justice Transformation (VISTA program and JUST RI Initiative). This will include but not be limited to scheduling coordination and implementation of programs or services developing and maintaining key performance indicators to include finance quality and productivity. Depending on priorities and needs of department may assume leadership role for activities to insure the successful completion of projects.
VISTA Recruitment and Orientation:
� Support partner sites throughout the recruitment and selection of VISTA members facilitating the use of AmeriCorps online recruitment portal.
� Work closely with all site supervisors to help onboard and support all VISTA members.
� Lead the facilitation of on-site member training and orientation activities at each site.
Grant Management and Reporting:
� Serve as the VISTA team�s main point of contact with the Regional VISTA Operations Manager.
� Prepare and submit all VISTA project reports collecting and aggregating data from all partners and assessing progress made on performance measures on a quarterly basis.
� Monitor the VISTA team�s compliance with AmeriCorps VISTA policies and regulations addressing performance concerns with supervisors and VISTA members as needed.
� Monitor JUST RI grant activities to include fiscal expenditures reporting and adherence to Initiative scope of work requirements. Assist with research and report compilation for JUST RI projects.
Community Partnerships and Communications:
� Act as the main point of contact for all VISTA partner sites and supervisors maintaining and overseeing the terms outlined in the team�s Partnership Agreements.
� Attend and represent the team at monthly VISTA supervisors� meetings for RI sites.
� Conduct community outreach & communications for VISTA program and JUST RI as needed.
VISTA Team Training and Supervision:
� Orient and prepare site supervisors to monitor each members� duties and progress as outlined in the team�s VISTA grant agreement; assist supervisors with quarterly VISTA performance review and evaluation process.
� Organize and facilitate regular team meetings/trainings for all VISTA members and supervisors as well as community/team building activities the encourage collaborative projects across sites.
� Troubleshoot logistical and programmatic service-related issues providing individualized VISTA member and supervisor support as needed.
� Serve as additional resource and support for all VISTA members on the team if concerns or issues arise that cannot be discussed directly with site supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor�s degree in criminal justice public health public administration or other related field required. Master�s degree preferred.
Minimum of three years related experience in program and/or grant management experience. Other relevant experience will be considered if it aligns with position requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with diverse populations.
Valid license and reliable form of transportation.

Normal office environment.
Performs independently within the department�s policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to the supervisor when clarification of the departmental policies and procedures are required.
